I deal with Type II diabetes and control it with diet alone.  Read at one time that Essiac cures/controls Type II.  Took it for at least four or five months, probably longer (about five or six years ago) and it did nothing for my Type II.  I've also had tinnitus for many, many years and I guarantee you that it did nothing for that.  I've been a believer and promoter of Essiac for a long time, have books, the tea, the works, but it has never dented my Type II, hypertension, or any other benefits.  In fact - when I began it a few months ago for cancer I concurrently went into atrial flutter and since I quit the Essiac the flutter has stopped.

If I drink alcohol - just one drink, it will increase my tinnitus.  If I quit alcohol for a month or more, it slowly drops down to a lower level but is still there.  Quitting caffeine has never changed it in any way either.

Skin issues have gone away for me with the ingestion of Vitamin D3 - 10,000 IU per day minimum.
