When I was having eye problems, I found putting castor in and around my eyes before bed worked wonders. At one point, I would soak gauze pad in castor oil, put them on my eyelids, cover them with plastic wrap, use a blindfold to hold the qauze pads in place. Honey, can also be used in the eye. It will collect any bacteria, imo. It has a slight sting to it at first. Saline rinses are benifical, of course. Herbs for the liver, milk thisle, bilberry, ect were useful as well.
