Hello again. My name is Nikki. I have had two c-sections and a successful vbac. It took me what seemed like forever to finally find a doctor who would give me an honest chance to try to give birth this way.
What I did was contact a local midwife and she gave me numbers to doctors who she knew that would do so. One of the two she gave me did and she was a blessing for sure! She let me go two weeks past my due date, and then 48 hours of labor and when Anna was being born she worked fast and neat to where I didn't tear. HalleluYah! I prayed and prayed for a doctor to go to that would help me have a natural birth and my prayers were answered. Hope this helps.
I was so discouraged and let down by most of the surrounding hospitals. I was almost to the point in throwing in the towel and doing it alone at home, but I will tell you that I am grateful that I was lead to the doctor and hospital that I gave birth in. Natural birth hurts like no body's business! Even though I didn't want pain meds I caved after two days of no sleep, no food or water and intense pain. If I had done it on my own who knows what would have happened.
