I know it has been a long time since you posted this but I was recently told that getting neck deep in a bath would help with this. I have yet to try that suggestion out. I normally got better when ever I had a bout of altitude sickness when I came down off the ski slopes. Hope this helps someone else- it is a bad feeling. They say people can even get it when they live in high altitude areas for years.
