Well before this started happening on my top lip, a group of fordoyce spots rapidly started to appear right in the centre of my top, almost inside the mouth. If you have EC, stretch your skin and check for these spots. After more research, they appear to be linked to EC because they are an overgrowth of glands that try to prevent skin from drying out.

You can just make out from my pics, that I have 1 prominant fordoyce spot on my top lip. However there are several starting to appear on both lips (currently underneigh the skin and barely visible - but I fear this will get worse).

It's quite depressing all this stuff. To top it off, I think my ex-girlfriend is starting to develop similar symptoms. I'll be very upset if this is true.

Please reply to this if you can share similar stories or concerns, or of course help stop it.
