Iolite, thank you again for suggesting something to try. This is robbing me of sleep, and keeps me always worried, not knowing when I may have a flare-up.

I can try castor oil tonight. About arnica: I am not sure this is really a bruise, because of the details of the way I injured myself. Yes, it is a trauma injury. I was stepping out of the shower and slipped. I did more than just land wrong, and have been getting more and more concerned that I've dome myself permanent harm. Because of the way I landed, I think I put strain on my spermatic cords. (I could describe in more detail, but don't have a sense of what is appropriate in this forum.) Do you have an opinion about arnica for that sort of injury?
