I know alot about this procedure & have spoken with
Borody himself. The reason they repeat the procedure
is to allow the bacteria a chance to colonize.. which u know yes. But the problem is if you do it just once, your existing flora might just kill off the flora you trying to implant.

The key to this is to repeat it over & over, until the new flora dominates the old flora.

Borody himself told me there's a normal part of intestinal flora that "eats candida for breakfast", his exact words.
So I believe defeating candida is impossible without this procedure. I believe proper flora balance is the only way to keep candida and other pathogenic bacteria from causing problems.
