Magnapool use some very clever marketing techniques specifically targetted at women.
They have no medical data to support their claims and rely on the testimonials of customers. The product is actually quite good as an alternative to salt water pools. There is sodium in the magnapool mix (detailed on previous forums) at around 10-15%.
Unfortunately the products they use are rebranded products from the poolrite company and in todays market are outdated. These include the S4000 chlorinator, the SQI pump and the s series sand filter. An addition to the range is the diamond kleen media which they use instead of silica sand. Magnapool will claim there are special software or phase angles, this is not the case. Materials supplied for magnapool products are the same spec as the poolrite products.
The water clarity is some of the best i have seen and the water is silky smooth. Overall not a bad result, just the product is overpriced and they use clever marketing.
The system still creates chlorine as the primary sanitiser.
If you check out a very long forum on whirlpool, some 20+ pages. The inventor defends the product and its claims. Seems to be a bit of a loose cannon and tends to make up words.
Save your money.
