I know the feeling I am a sufferer of this condition. Mine started when I was like 15 or 16 and I have been able to get some control over it when I was 21 by using body wash and detoxing but as of last year aug 2010 I lost all control of this and now nothing I do helps to keep me smelling clean. It's hard to go to work,church, school etc. I get the same exact response from friends and family that I don't smell, and I'm like yeah right that's why they run in their room when I smell really bad. I don't know what I smell like but I have heard from people that I smell like garbage, or something died, it depends on what I eat. I have searched the internet for cures but nothing works tried all kinds of phony cure pills online claiming to cure TMAU. No one but those who are sufferers themselves can trully understand what it's like to have this problem everyone else will act like it is no big deal as if we are just crazy. I pray everyday for a cure or at least some control over it where I can smell clean for some lengthy period of time where I would feel comfortable with myself going out with friends and family.
