One of the things they don't mention is that for 30years the organic food industry has been using Bacterial soil conditioning. these soil treatment formulas go by the name of Effective Micro Organisms One Million.

The Big problem is the over use of these formulas which when over used will shoot not only the bacteria in the formulas into the trillions but all natural bacterias found in the soil to begin with plus the added ones from Chicken, Cow, Goat, Rabbit and pig manures

Bacteria like strep and staph are found naturally in soil around the world. and since the 1980's when these formulas were legalized for use without any study outside the laboratory. since that time the use of these bacterial formulas and disease have risen equally across the board. As these formulas were used more the diseases increased as well.

The current bacterial outbreaks, infections, and antibiotic resistant strains of bacterias can all be attributed to the Farms where these formulas are used. when bacterias get into the trillions not all of them can survive together so some out of self preservation instinct in the bacteria will go dormant and when in the antibiotic soil stage is reached in composting many of the bacteria are not affected because they are not active.

Then the compost is put into the ground where these dormant bacterias can transfer to the plant through the plant drawing nutrients from the soil. Then these dormant bacteria are stored in the roots, leaves and fruits of the plants. Once digested generally by them being eaten raw it gets into your gut where you have a host of other bacteria which the dormant ones can use to live and multiply so it wakes up and bingo bacterial infectious outbreak.

Don't over use EM-1 or any other type of micro organisms. Best to use natural plant composting methods without additional formulas. western cultures tend to want to have it now and adding formulas helps speed up the composting process but to the hurt of the community.
