Not sure what the Islamic way is. But I`ll give you my insight. Dreaming about our own death, mostly means change.

In this particular dream I feel, that you are death for all those who are in that dream, because you are not in touch with them anymore.

It`s your past, you are gone for them, and they are gone for you.

Probably, not knowing what is happening in your life now. You might have given a kind of closure to this past relationships.

If it rings a bell in you, is the most important here.
