I don't suggest fasting..... I did it and the bacterial slime filled my stomach up until I could not even drink a glass of water....When I finally ate a straight hamburger what came out scared the crap out of me. Ground beef coated with the bio-film as long as your sink is wide.... about six of them wide as a pencil. I have been going through the neurological stuff..... dead hand, drop foot and seizures that I can stop if I concentrate on some thing.... now I don't want you thinking I am lost and nuts I am suffering like most of you just a bit more..... One night I could not take it anymore and took 100ct 100mg morphine pills and 60 30mg oxycodone and did not barely sleep ....The slime covered them up like my food and they came out wrapped up in a bio-film string i described..... Our gut is a breeding ground (one of them) This will sound funny but you have to feed the bacteria and crap it out... I have stopped listening to all the know it alls because I am one now too and you can choose to believe this or not but hot chili everyday as boring and soon probably sickening as it is has made my stools much softer the neurological stuff has almost dissipated and I can think straight once again. It is no where near a cure but makes my life easier to live.
