Hi all, so I have taking my first tincture adventure!
I strained my valerian tincture through a 100% cotton pillow case tonight. My valerian is cloudier and not quite as dark as the herb pharm tincture I have. Is this okay? I had a lot of herb in the jar and only about 1/3 float of vodka on top when the herbs had finished swelling.I have never tinctured before so I just wanted to see if cloudy is a normal reaction. Probable a stupid question but the store bought tinctures I have taken of valerian weren't cloudy. Do I need to filter it again or is this ok?
