Look just beneath the ACS's "good-guy" image and you'll find (just for starters): -$1 billion in cash reserves. (Tax free) -Over $500 million in property. (Tax free) -A CEO that earned $2.7 million last year. -Direct connections to cancer CAUSING product drug and chemical companies. -Millions of dollars in your donations going to state and federal lobbying efforts on behalf of their corporate contributors and partners. -A system to bilk federal and state taxpayers out of millions and millions of dollars with their partners in the North American Quit-Line Consortium AND push drugs for their corporate contributors (and bill taxpayers for those too). But what we find the MOST offensive is: taking hard working people's money by telling them it is for research.
