I just wanted to say that yesterday was heavenly for me. Thank you Rainy for allowing me flow with you in the Spirit. I could have rested there all day....and I pretty much did.

What a lovely experience and when I think about people not being able to speak the name of Jesus, I think we can see a bigger picture in our country of why we don't see the power and godly authority that this world truly needs to find healing.


Just one example: The 4th US Circuit of Appeals in Richmond, Virginia ruled against a North Carolina county, granting favor to two country residents who claimed they were offended when they heard the words "in Jesus' name" prayed aloud during a board meeting. The Anti-Defamation League, Americans United for Separation of Church and State and the ACLU praised the court's ruling. The Alliance Defense Fund has offered to handle the case, seeking to take the debate all the way to the US Supreme Court.

How many times have any of you being in a meeting, group setting or even some church gatherings, where a prayer ended in..."in your heavenly name we pray"???

Now I do realize that each person knows who they are praying to but do we really realize the power that is in the name of Jesus?

Romans 14:11 It is written: "'As surely as I live,' says the Lord, 'every knee will bow before me; every tongue will confess to God.'"

Philippians 2:9- Therefore God exalted him to the highest place and gave him the name that is above every name, that at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, in heaven and on earth and under the earth, and every tongue confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father.

As christians we can quietly add "in Jesus' name" to such a public prayer....but oh the power of that name on our country and the world...if they only knew what blessings they are missing out on.

Think of a hurting world that stifles "in Jesus' name". Now visualize a world that every mouth confesses the name of Jesus. Wow

Pray christians, pray that we don't lose sight of what authority we have in Christ....it is in His name, in His blood and by the power of the Holy Spirit that we have victory.

And once people see the power in the name....hopefully they will see the saving power in the blood and walk in His Spirit for evermore.
