Hi gmitch1,

I believe that taking daily enemas for 10 years does not get you hooked on it. After that period if you quit within 3-4 days you’re back to having normal bowel movements.

I have never gotten depend on enemas so I don’t have first hand experience but my instinct tells me that you just wean yourself off of them.
