Wow, you sound just like me. I moved from the midwest to Arizona near phoenix 2 years ago. I only stayed for about 8 months but during that time I developed severe allergies even though I had never had any in my life and I test negative for all standard allergy testing. Now my doctors believe I have acid reflux. My throats always raw feeling too and i get sinus drainage. It's awful. I was perfectly healthy before I moved there. If you're getting drainage then there is a connection between gerd and allergies because that drainage can irritate the stomach.
