The best juicer is the one that you have and >>will use<<. The centrifugals don't totally destroy the enzymes. They are just less efficient at extracting the juice from veggies and and don't do well with leafy greens. They will not do wheat grass or do well with soft fruits either. Because of the high speed it introduces oxygen so juices will start oxydating sooner and faster thus ideally should be drunk right after making or maybe a few hours at most if refrigerated and saved in a container with little to no air. They are leagues better than not juicing at all. Look into buying used. I paid as much for a used Omega 2003 auger juicer as I would have for a new decent centrifugal. I've owned mine for over 5 years and just finished a 108 day juice feast. Craig's list always is a good place to look for used juicers. Bulletin boards in health food stores are also a good place to look for used juicers .On the less expensive end that will handle greens well and will even do wheat grass are the auger based Omegas so keep you eye out for one of those if you are gonna try and look for used.
