Sure. When I went through the cleansing reaction last spring from Buteyko. I was somewhat prepared when I started having headaches for 2 weeks, bone ache, 3 to 4 bowel movements per day.
The problem is how to tell if it is a healing reaction or simply getting worse. It’s hard to tell from my log book. I’m just not sure it is from the copper detox.
On 08/20 and and 08/21, I had sex a few times with my wife. No orgasm though. But I think the arousal kicked my back in sympathetic mode.
The next day, my Control Pause took a nose dive, indicating I was hyperventilating at night again. (Control Pause is the Buteyko cellular oxygen measurement). Also the day after, I was stuffed up and had the flu like feeling, which I hadn’t had for months. This started to get progressively worse. I started to get other high cortisol symptoms (muscle aches in middle of night)
My bowel movements started to get lite occasionally a couple of days later.
Now at some point from following the RBTI folks, I also started backing off on nuts, which I have been scarfing down all day for years. But I didn’t really record when.
I seemed to be well on my downward spiral before I started to focus on copper detox.
I usually do a better job on my journal, but I made too many changes to know what did what.
