People who have Wilson's disease take 150 mgs plus of zinc daily for life with no immune suppression issues. It takes a long time to over dose on zinc since it stores in tissues and bones and also taking NAC lowers zinc levels to....it can take one year to come to normal levels with zinc supplementation.....Vegeta, not sure what's got you so worried about this, the Cutler protocol has been used for many years at higher doses...i understand not wanting to continue taking it forever but for a short period during the detox it should not hurt...it hasn't hurt anyone i've seen to the detox online
