I guess I'm scared to stop probiotics, for I fear the pathogens would then take over. My thinking is, if I am adding soldiers to fight among my behalf (the good flora), then why pull them out before the war ends? I'm afraid it'd give the bad dudes the upperhand....
Do i just stop the pills cold turkey?
Also, probiotics seem to help with constipation. :-P
Will eating FERMENTED FOODS be a good idea instead of taking probiotic pills? I'm trying to add in raw sauerkraut and raw fermented cabbage juice. I eventually will add in homemade nondairy yogurt (made with homemade nutmilk) when my started arrives. Is this ok....or will this contribute to the dysbiosis? SCD, GAPS, and Bee say fermented foods are ok...but they differ on their views of their effectiveness, as well as when to add them in.
What can I do about the constipation issue?
When did u add probiotics back in? And what did u start with?
Oh, and I'm not just dealing with candida....my major infections are biofilmed bacteria:
2 strains of +4 areomonas
2 strains of +4 citrobacter
1 strain of +4 klebsiella
+2 Proteus group
+2 Staph
Fungus/yeast:
+3 unidentifiable fungus
+1 candida parapsilosis
My "beneficial bacteria" count was this:
+2 bacteriodes fragilis
+2 bifidobacterium spp
+4 E coli (Is this in the pathogenic range???)
+3 lactobacillus ssp
+4 enteroccocus ssp (Is this pathogenic too?)
+3 Clostidium ssp (pathogenic??)
