I, too, have the pulsatile tinnitus in one ear. I have had it develop soon after my migraines started developing (side effect of the Mirena?). I mentioned it to my doctor, but he did not seem concerned. I therefore have not been further evaluated as you have. I plan on trying to get the Mirena removed soon.
