My first batch of water kefir, I was so excited for it I drank multiple glasses with meals etc. Definitely a BAD idea when trying to recolonize my gut flora for the first time (with new probiotic source). The reactions were so intense I was sick to my stomach with cramping.

This has only happened the first time though, and I now generally don't take it with meals, maybe a couple times since then with no issues.
