Hello everyone,

I am a freelance writer who has been dealing with cirrhosis for almost twelve years. It took me a long time to  find a way to connect my feelings and emotions. I wanted the people who I love to understand the disease. When I started to write about my thoughts & feelings I opened up wounds that I thought I had healed. I tried to reach deep inside and try to explain what it means to have cirrhosis. Not just for us, but also for the people who love us and take care of us.

My husband and I have been going through this disease together for a long time, but up until now he didn't know what was really going on with me inside. What I thought would be just a short article turned into a book or rather an ebook. I gave the ebook to my husband to read and he was visibly taken back, he didn't realize the emotional toll that comes with cirrhosis. I guess I hid it well.

I wrote the ebook from my heart. I have come to terms that I have  cirrhosis. I tried very hard to capture the chaos of cirrhosis that surounds us.  I hoped others can learn what we are going through.
