My son may use the Fecal Transplant method for treating UC. Does anyone out there have any knowledge regarding this?

Specifically, I have two questions:

We are going to use an enema bottle with fecal matter for five days in a row. How long can a fecal sample stay fresh before using?

Once my son has taken Antibiotics and lavaged, he needs to start eating again. Any suggestions as to diet while he continues to do the enemas?
