the doctors can only test if you are having an outbreak with a swab test and those are not always accurate. They dont always leak the actual virus.
It sounds like your body is fighting it and so far winning.
Try to remember that the "one in six people" they say have it-have had outbreaks. Anyone can carry it and never have an outbreak but still virally shed. Especially if stressed.
The best thing you can do is stop stressing about it. Stress is a calling card for outbreaks.
Relax. If it happens it happens. Stress will make it happen.
Exercise, relax, and stay healthy,
If you aren't healthy then get healthy but above all avoid stress and worrying. Get a good nights sleep and remember. just because someone doesn't tell you they have herpes, or says they don't doesn't mean they are herp free.
There is so much shame involved some people live all their lives without ever going to the doctor or ever telling anyone.
I have gone years without an outbreak and then have worry or stress and it raises its ugly head, Sometimes its just the shooting nerve pain and never makes blisters. Sometimes I get blisters. Its a mixed bag but sleepless nights and stress are the trigger,
Getting safe sun helps. Soothing music and whatever it is that helps you relax. Find it. Refuse negative people in your life (they aren't worth an outbreak) and try to avoid situations and people that cause stress. ie-if traffic gives you stress, leave later in the day or get up that much earlier to avoid it. You get to say when your day starts. Exercise everyday it works the stress chemicals (cortisol and adrenaline) out. Try not to eat things with chemicals in them, they mess with your hormones which messes with herps.
