Usually, with an elevated TSH, even with T3 and T4 in the normal range, doctors will treat you with thyroid hormone. I have a mildly elevated TSH and my doctor put me on thyroid. The problem is, when your system has 'adrenal fatigue'/HPA dysfunction, adding the thyroid hormone can make it worse.
