Hey curezone, new here :D
Well I have my blood results ready, and doc's appointment tomorrow. Sometimes I find it hard to trust doctors, since they don't really care, and they are doing their job. So that's why I'm asking here first. For 10 years now, I've been having a wide variety of symptoms, including anxiety, muscle aches, brain fog, tmj, motor skill loss, and other related symptoms.

Anyway, here are my test results in a nutshell:

TSH: 6.20 Normal range: 0.4 - 4.0

T3: 93.90 Normal range: 84 - 172

T4: 1.30 Normal range: 0.89 - 1.76

My direct bilirrubin is algo higher than normal:
Direct bilirrubin: 0.39 Normal range: 0 - 0.3

Everything else was fine. I don't get how my TSH is so high, while my T4 and T3 are "normal".

I've been reading that when this happens, it's not a matter of quantity of hormones, but it's quality. Should I start taking iodine, or any supplements? I'm sort of a n00b here..

Thanks very much in advance...

Cheers from Chile.
