I started taking Iodine supplements a while back, (Tri-iodine, by Terry Naturally.) THis was to help with Fibrocystic breasts and ovarian cysts. I didn't test my Iodine levels before starting, i figured after 7 pregnancies and with those symptoms I was probably deficient. I am 43. i started with around 3 mg for a couple days and worked up to 6 mg when I started noticing shortness of breath. This was after probably less than 2 weeks of use. It has been at least a full week and I am still having the shortness of breath. Can anyone tell me if this symptom could be from the Iodine or not? And if it is when will it stop? I would really appreciate some feedback. Thanks!
