new to this site..there's a gazillion posts so forgive me if this has been asked and answered..

was just diagnosed with fatty liver, but it's not overly serious...liver enzymes are not overly high..was told would cure itself with proper diet, exercise and cut back the beer

i asked the doctor if that meant don't drink at all or just cut it back considerably and he wasn't comfortable giving me an answer...not an alcoholic, but live a very social life style and want to know if i can still sip on the odd beer here and there but not overdo it while i go through this or should i cut beer out completely until the cells repair themselves?
