Yes, I understood that you have decided to have surgery, and I respect that. As you note, though, the pain can be very debilitating. I was just summarizing what I have found to give some relief, in case it might help you until your appointment.

I was sent home from the emergency room with prescriptions for an anti-nausea drug and a narcotic pain-killer. When I had symptoms a few days later, the nausea drug worked pretty well, but the narcotic just made me dizzy. The Epsom Salt bath gave me near-instant relief. I love soaking in the bathtub anyway, so avoiding drugs by doing something I love was a double win (Yea!).

I hope you feel better soon. I wouldn't wish this stuff on my worst enemy.
