yes I read a book once that fish oil helped all kinds of mental illnesses such as schizophrenia, depression, bi polar, anxiety, ocd, add, agoraphobia, dyslexia are some of the ones I remember

Also besides behavioral changes they saw that the brain had actually changed to resemble a normal brian when they looked at the area in question via PET scan

they used much higher amounts though but this did not just make them better but appeared to physically change the brain and maybe the higher doses are necessary for that.
