If I remember right I thought that Julia Chang originally tried the Swedish bitters and changed to the Chinese bitters, it should be on her website. A year ago or so we had this discussion here so may be you can find it in the archives.
Wombat you are talking about "sweetish" bitters, is this different from Swedish.
