After suffering candida for 5+ years and trying every diet and remedy out there, I've been confronted with some strong truths lately.

I believe that a lack of love for the self, self esteem, self image and a devaluation of the self directly effects our immune system and our bodies relationship with everything we give to it. Our bodies relationship with the food we give it is directly related to our minds relationship with our body and ourselves in general.

I realise that I have avoided intimate relationships for a long time due to a lack of love for myself and my body.

Are there many long termers who live stress free lives, are happily married or in a nice long term relationship, love their body and themselves, have frequent sex with partners they like, or happily enter into new relationships without fear/anxiety? Are you doing what you enjoy in life?

I'm just putting this out there. If you've tried every "physical" cause/remedy I think it might have emotional causes directly effecting the immune system.
