Yes, I know that this is the commonly accepted wisdom. It still doesn't answer the question: if urine has antibacterial properties, as is also commonly accepted, then why doesn't this neutralize any bacteria growing after 15 min?
And if it doesn't - then exactly how are the bacteria harmful? I think the germ theory of illness has been pretty much debunked.
Did you see that thread about drinking old urine I linked to at the Urine Therapy Debate forum? I haven't tried it and don't know if I will, but it's intriguing.
One thing that article you quoted said, that it's best drunk like tea, is probably true. I do drink it at one go on occasion, I'll work on stretching it out.
