The detox may hit your weak points; and if it is the skin (as it was with me, along with the digestion) it will hit you right there. Iodine may trigger a worsening in you hypo T condition, transient phase.

What I noticed was that if I was cold, or if the weather was cold and dry, my hypo T dryness was worse. Same if one are to much inside a well isolated house.
Checked your body temp ?

for moisturizing the skin I find a combination of aloe gel or juice with an oil like coconut or shea butter very soothing, but the skin is made from within, so what you take in/ digestion etc is the culprit IMO.
