That's true, Uny, and something that I have not given much thought to. There are lies about me, as well, "in print". I assume that my posting history speaks for itself... but what about the random web surfer that happens upon the thread wherein you and I are accused of "not caring about life"? Is that the "truth" they walk away with?

And you are absolutely correct that our rights to free speech are hindered. What I am really concerned about though are the CZ newbies, the lurkers. If I saw this sort of activity on this site when I was lurking, or when I was a new member, I doubt that I would have summoned the courage to post- hell, I would not have WANTED to post! Post there? For what? Abuse? No, thanks!

There is no way to prove it, but I feel that many have already been driven away from CZ.

In my view, CZ is a place of give and take, a place to explore and learn. Not a one of us has the "truth" that will apply, across the board, to all posters. We need to cultivate an atmosphere of respect for our different beliefs.

This is about the health of CZ as a whole.
