I can't comment on most of the things you asked about since I've never tried them.

My chelation protocol was cilantro and chlorella for more than 6 months. This was followed by the Cutler Protocol for 2 years. Then I've returned to C and C for the last few months. Last weekend I tried ALA every hour because somebody said it worked for her. I didn't have a major problem, but it's hard to tell if it was very successful since chelation is such a long, slow process.
