Coconut water kefir should be carbonated & not sweet as the kefir grains should eat the Sugar & produce enzymes, probiotics & CO2. I have found Body Ecology products sometimes aren't active (they have sent me replacement packages when that was the case). I've since bought re-usable grains from other sources.
