Yes I know diet will not cure one of candida, but it helps it not get worse. The same goes for this analogy: If u had anxiety, u would avoid caffeine b/c caffeine causes heart palpitations, nervous energy, etc...all symptoms of anxiety. But, avoiding caffeine does not cure anxiety, however, it can help reduce the symptoms of it. Same goes for heart disease. Avoiding fast food won't cure heart issues, but it will lessen the effects of it.

What do u recommend someone eat when dealing with fungus, then?
