I once read a blog from David, living in Sweden (check on Youtube for an EC movie and you will see him), and he said he asked the author of this article. Her English was poor, and her explanation to the Photoshop thing was that 'she didn't know what it was, and that she would never manipulate images'. However, she did mention that it was very difficult to publish papers with the subject of EC, because of it's comparative rarity/ lack of interest in the scientific community.

Also, I sent her an email couple years back asking if she could send her special "Brazilian" Calendula creme to me, and then she admitted that other non- Brazilian people whom she sent the creme, did not report positive results after applying it for some months. I guess the Brazilian climate/ food habits may be more optimal/ immuno-stimulatory then in European countries/ US.

Please check if your diet is healthy enough and does not lead to even more severe defiencies. I made this mistake when following MontrealHomeGrown's diet and developed a strong iron/ fat defiency after ~4 months (although my EC improved tremendously in that time, read my previous post).

Do not go so far with trying to 'cure' yourself to let your overall health / social life decline: it will make people (very) worried and you might end up losing more than gaining.
