Is the vitamin C you are using buffered with the correct type of magnesium? According to a man I consider to be a genius named Dr Roby a certain type of buffered C will stop a food reaction in less than ten seconds (it is not the vitamin c it is the magnesium stopping the reaction). This can only happen if it has been an hour or less since you ate, otherwise you will need to take a small amount of Epson salts in water; the vitamin c only works in the stomach, so if it has been over an hour since you ate then Epson salts must be taken to stop the reaction ( Epsom Salts must work not only in the stomach but also once the food is past the stomach). How this actually works and what amounts to take are described in the first link below. Dr Roby sells a brand of buffered C that evidently works well for this, but I called and talked to his nurse and there are some store brands also that work but I had trouble finding one. I would call and ask him what he recommends. I tried to buy some from his online store but the links don’t work so a phone call would be best. He is very easy to talk to; I called after office hours but when he found out someone had questions he wanted to get on the phone and talk to me. Please consider reading this link below.
