Wormwood (herb) will eradicate the malaria parasite. A course of humaworm (Ask Humaworm) would be a good idea when he's receptive.

Milk Thistle is good for healing the liver and NAC (n-acetyl-cysteine) help the liver detox. Both silymarin (active ingredient in milk thistle and also found in artichoke) and NAC are used by hospitals.
