As pointed out diet has very little actual effect on pH.

end quote.

ummmmm.....

How does a rational person respond to such a preposterous notion?

Yes, diet has very little effect on ph in the same sense as breathing has very little effect on oxygenation. I'll bet Gerty will come up with a study soon that proves breathing isn't all that is cracked up to be.

To the arcane twisted-minded pseudo-scientist who worships double blind studies out of one side of their mouth, and who out the other side of their mouth considers telepathy and 'energy vortexes', one is who deeply rooted in allopathic non-logic, and ego-based medicine, yes dietary ph would appear to have no effect on bodily secretions. But what if one were to dig a mere femto-inch beneath the veneer of fool's logic and look at stored toxins like intestinal plaque, kidney stones, liver stones , gall stones, fibroids, tumors, osteoporotic calcium leaching from bones, etc etc etc etc etc ad infinitum, then we would see that most of these unwanted accretions are acidic in constitution and it isn't a very big leap to understand that a diet rich in alkaline minerals would help to reduce such. Not to mention the gazillions of testimonials of people who cured themselves of disease from following an alkaline diet.

Vik, I suggest you do as previous poster suggested and post in a support forum.

Your theory is interesting, but you are missing the big picture. Liver Flushes are a mechanical device to unclog the liver and gall bladder. Don't get caught up in the Gerty Overthink trap.
