I'm in a similar boat as you, having a dental procedure done in a couple weeks - taking 10 days of antiBx leading up to it. My candida problem is very slight at this point, if there at all. I'm taking SF722 again as my main precaution. I plan to ramp up to 12 or 15 a day. What we don't want to happen is a candida growth spurt taking place b/c the good bacteria #'s are suddenly diminished. (Did you ever try SF722?) Fungal candida cannot grow strong while being fed undecenoic acid, which also has the upside of not being profoundly antibacterial.

Ten days is not that long a time for me, especially now that I consider myself an expert at growing my good bacteria numbers. Seems to me it's worth the trade off. If they open up your tooth socket, and do a procedure, and close it again, whatever bacteria survive the sterilization technique (and there always are some), they're in there forever, and will require a future procedure, guaranteed, if you live long enough. The fewer of them there are, the longer you can go without any problems.

Also, garlic is a blood thinner, so be careful with that depending on what is being done. Could turn "run-of-the-mill bleeding" into "problematic bleeding." I've consumed garlic my whole life, but I'll be pausing for a 3 or 4 day window - 2 before and 1 or 2 after the surgery.
