I second what Diana said!!! If 3 years is the magic number, that's actually good news! I'm just sorry 2 years wasn't the magic number. . .But if I knew I'd be back to normal in one more year I would celebrate!!

Mirena placed Dec. 2006 removed form abdomen Oct. 2009

Symptoms:
1. severe anger at husband (went away 2 months post)
2. stabbing in pelvic area (went away 6 months post except at ovulation)
3. pain down leg: 2 years--but a better for last 4 months after starting magnesium
4. numb foot/leg: 1 1/2 years
5. brain fog/can't think of word/pressure on my head: going on 5 years daily/constant
6. fatigue going on 5 years daily/constant
7. low back pain: lasted 1 1/2 years but better now with lots of yucky core exercises
8. fingers and hands going numb at night
9. sinus--left side has been clogged for 4 + years
10. teeth griding/turned into full on TMJ: 3 1/2 years
11. skin turned dry/red/thin: 2 years
12. eyes dry/painful/watery: 2 years
13. headache: 2 months--from TMJ or other no one knows
14. extremely light periods
15. periods of huge bloating that lasts 3-4 days at a time
15. full osteoporosis: 2 1/2 years
16. blood test "consistent with chronic inflammation"
17. brains MRI's with "30-40 tiny lesions"
18. abnormally low progesterone and high FSH
19. periodic heart palps/ abnormal rhythm

Man, just reading this makes me need some chocolate pie.
