One of the neat things about kefir is its ability to go back to its original flora. If it was spoiled milk, i would rinse the grains off well, put good milk in it and let it ferment, throw that batch out, then do it again. One way of telling if its good is by smelling and tasting. It shouldnt take more than two cycles to get it back to normal
