The caprylic acid found in supplements and coconut oil is an excellent antifungal for killing candida. But does anyone know whether caprylic acid affects your friendly bacteria? Would taking large doses of caprylic acid (and/or coconut oil) kill-off your friendly bacteria? Can a person overdose on coconut oil and/or caprylic acid?
