It seems like a liquid fish oil would be easier for you to take. I used to have gelcaps stick in my esophagus where they wouldn't dissolve. Eating something solid would usually move them along into the stomach where the acid would dissolve them. But if you don't have sufficient stomach acids, that may be one of your problems.
