First I am not sure the diet conclusion is really that well thought out. Second and this has been my pet peeve since I went to TCM school, nowhere is there an adaptation to modern modern toxins.

All anecdotal and observational medicine records have value but going back to 1,2 and 3 thousand year old remedies into todays chemical soup is NOT the complete solution.

I can create a huge amount of 'Yin Fire' with just a little bit of Mercury, and copper ions...
Plus even in 2011 everyone still seems to ignore the Hg->Candida link by quoting text written thousands of years ago...
but perhaps worse and inexcusable is the lack of Gold in Acupuncture needles known to remove stagnation due to Fluoride...
